Bachelor of Philosophy of Moscow University, collegiate secretary. In 1759 he became a student, and in 1761 he was awarded a gold medal. He taught arithmetic at the University Gymnasium (1764-1767). He was the author of "Mathematical precepts" ("Matematicheskie nastavleniia") and translator of "Universal philosophy of Heineccius" (“Universalnaia Geinektsieva filosofiia”), published in Moscow in 1776.
